Cardboard Show Choir will combine choral singing with movement and dance. The shows will be united by a theme or storyline, and are typically 10-25 minutes in length. This is a great opportunity to work on singing and performing skills.

Show Choir requires performers to develop stage presence, choreography skills, and the ability to perform with confidence in front of an audience. Performers will experience working together towards a shared goal, fostering communication and leadership skills. Rehearsing and performing demands commitment and discipline, helping performers develop time management skills. This is a unique platform for performers to express themselves creatively through music and dance.

Courtney Gates
An Albuquerque NM native, Courtney Gates' passion for performing began as a young child as she began studying and performing, becoming very active in local theatre, music, and dance programs. In 2017 she graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City where she lived and worked in film and theatre until 2020. Courtney is currently located in Albuquerque NM and is represented by Mitchell Talent. She is a lyric soprano/ mezzo soprano, with Training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Courtney will be available for private vocal coaching
