About the Course

Dive into the wonderful world of theatre with Cardboard Playhouse Theatre Company's Conservatory Project Annie KIDS! This special project offers young performers ages 8-14 a chance to bring a classic story to life on stage.


Over 19 rehearsals, students will learn fundamental acting skills and put them into practice, culminating in three live performances. Our program is designed to be accessible and supportive for performers at all skill levels. Students will learn about all aspects of working on a show, including auditioning, music, dance, costuming, make-up design, hair design, and more! Every student receives a script and a conservatory t-shirt.

  • Limited Spots: This program is capped at 30 students, so register early to secure your spot!

Most rehearsals will take place at the CPTC Rehearsal Space (4421 Towner Ave NE 87110) with some taking place at The Box.

Your Instructor

Kristin Berg

Kristin K. Berg is the artistic director for Cardboard Playhouse Theatre Company in Albuquerque, NM. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in University Theatre Studies from Eastern New Mexico University. A member of SAG-AFTRA, Kristin has appeared in films such as Hell or High Water and Ideal Home, as well as television shows including Better Call Saul and Roswell, New Mexico. With over 20 years of experience in theater, her passion is helping students of all ages discover their creative potential and build confidence through performance. She believes in creating a supportive and fun learning environment where every student feels comfortable exploring their unique talents. Kristin's expertise includes acting, improvisation, and stage production, and she is dedicated to fostering a love for the arts in the next generation of performers.
