About the Course
Musical Theatre Three is structured for 10-14 year olds ready to explore the world of performance! This class will include intermediate level choreography and vocal technique instruction and will introduce opportunities for solo work (within group numbers) and will cover Audition Technique and Preparation tactics and an introduction to the Stanislavsky Acting Method.
No previous experience required. Students will learn two songs that will be performed at the end of our twelve week course.
In this class student will practice:
Intermediate level Choreography and Vocal Technique Instruction
Beginning Solo Work (within songs)
Audition Technique and Preparation
Introduction to Stanislavsky Technique
Class will culminate with a final recital on March 21st at The Box 5:00 pm (Call at 4:00 pm).

Your Instructor
Courtney Gates
An Albuquerque NM native, Courtney Gates' passion for performing began as a young child as she began studying and performing, becoming very active in local theatre, music, and dance programs. In 2017 she graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City where she lived and worked in film and theatre until 2020. Courtney is currently located in Albuquerque NM and is represented by Mitchell Talent. She is a lyric soprano/ mezzo soprano, with Training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Courtney will be available for private vocal coaching
